Frequently Asked Questions

What is Strike Force?

Strike Force is an Apple Watch app that measures punch force, speed, and frequency to help you train smarter, strike harder, and track progress over time.

How does Strike Force measure punch power?

Using the Apple Watch’s accelerometer and gyroscope, Strike Force captures the motion of your punches and calculates G‑force in real time.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

Yes. The Apple Watch collects motion data and syncs to your iPhone for analysis, reports, and leaderboards.

Is Strike Force iOS/WatchOS only?

Yes. Strike Force was only developed for use with iOS and WatchOS as initial research showed that these only these products were capable of measuring the accelerometer forces required by Strike Force. While it may be the case that there are Android devices capable of supporting accelerometer readings required by Strike Force, there are no immediate plans to develop this product for Android.

Which modes are included?

Power, Speed, Workout, and Fight—each tuned to a different goal: max force, fast hands, session endurance, or head‑to‑head total output.

Can I challenge friends?

Absolutely. Send challenges, accept or decline, and see winners with detailed results. Friends‑only leaderboards make it even more fun.

Is Strike Force accurate?

Strike Force leverages Apple Watch sensors and proprietary motion algorithms for consistent, training‑grade feedback.

Does it work for both orthodox and southpaw?

Yes—wear your Apple Watch on your striking hand and keep it consistent across sessions.

Does it integrate with Apple Health?

Yes. Sessions can write relevant data to Apple Health with your permission.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your data is stored securely with Apple’s iCloud and processed in line with GDPR/CCPA practices.

Which devices are supported?

Strike Force supports modern Apple Watch and iPhone models running current OS versions. See our App Store page for specifics.
